About CICADA IR

CICADA IR was built by three practitioners who've spent their careers on the inside — a CIO, a CTO, and a Head of Infrastructure. Between them, over 30 years defending organisations across incident response, security operations, and governance frameworks including ISO 27001, ACSC Essential Eight, and NIST CSF. We built the tool we wished existed during every investigation that took longer than it should have.

Why the name? The cicada spends years underground, silent and unseen, before rising at precisely the right moment. We built our platform with the same philosophy — always present, quietly prepared, and ready to surface the instant an incident demands action.
